"Dear Coach MCGuirk"

 So I have a hobby of making videos with my Home Movies Budsies. I've managed to hold roughly 53 episodes under my belt so far with 7 (soon to be 8) out of 18 characters I've got in the works. Last year, I made a Christmas special that wound up being 43 minutes long and I had to leave it overnight to upload. And yesterday, I mentioned an idea for a yearly tradition of short episodes. 

So I tossed around a joke that Coach McGuirk told the kids that HE was Santa Claus. So when the kiddos write up their Christmas lists, they always address it to "Coach McGuirk." Welp, have some concept art of the kids writing out their lists. 

Mitch requests some rather....Questionable items for this holiday season.

Rocket Girl Has Landed

 Been slowly fixating on "Rocket Power" since dad and I had to sit through the "Race Across New Zealand" movie. Like I mentioned on the main blog, I think the movie would have been better and made more sense if we had watched the show beforehand. But that's on us. 

Hot take: Based on my experience so far, Reggie (Rocket Girl) is the ONLY likeable character I've seen so far.

Jackass! (Not The Stunt Movies\Show)

 With recent news on the Pinocchio remake, I wound  up doing a few late night sketches on Saturday for some lore as well as an original project I've been debating on since I was 11. 

"I told you that illegal horn transplant would have helped. But Zander had to go and rat us out!!!"

I have yet to think of an actual title for the project, but an 11 year old Mariel once dreamt of making her own project taking place at a now abandoned Pleasure Island where some of the kids (now donkeys) didn't make it or escaped the salt mine. Now I'm not too good at drawing characters on all fours, only anthro. But this should give me some time to practice! So far there are only 3 main protagonists in this project, but I'll wait until I have some official artwork to reveal their identities.

 Been meaning to push out some content to the Nostalgia Corner. And since my dad and I wound up with a VHS tape containing what (so far) seems to be a bunch of Rocket Power stuff amongst other commercials and promos. Maybe if we can transfer the contents to MP4, we could *possibly* do a review of this cursed tape. 

Revision Number 3543235438375439862078346785942- Well, You Get My Point.

 Currently on Budsie number 8 out of the official headcount of 18 Home Movies characters I plan on commissioning. Yes, I know its thousands of dollars being invested into stuffed animals, but this is MY hard earned money we're talking about here. And since I'm loaded with grad cash, I thought I'd work on revising one of my old ref sheets (circa 2020). 

How this ref sheets work is my dad would draw a character and I trace over his sheet on the computer. This sheet has gone through 2 revisions and I still feel it needs work! So I'm on revision number 3 of a character that only appeared once that people could care absolutely less about. 

Don't worry, folks. I'll be ordering Alan next summer!
