Hey, I actually have one of those Jon Gnagy art kits from when I was a kid. Does this mean you'll be incorporating some of the more "realistic" artwork into your sketches? Say now, I remember a counter-culture artist who came out around the same time as Gnagy, marketed a youth-oriented drawing kit with a "stick-it-to-the-figure". I kid, of course. Here's something neat: Sally Cruikshank (see "ducky") of SesameStreet fame, taught herself to animate using the Preston Blair book. I always enjoyed her stuff but had never seen nor heard of the amazing short film, "Quasi at the Quackadero" until yesterday! Well, anyway, I'm just stopping by to say, "Hey". I hadn't been notified of the replies on my blog, which goldarn it, is going up next month or i eat my hat. I wanted to say, your rounded animal heads are looking the best yet! That Fred Flintstone page is good-looking and funny ... or good and funny-looking... Wait. I'm confused.
Merry Christmas, mein freund! See you in a couple pounds. . .
Now I know it's going to be a truly Merry Christmas! My old pal, bardhol, has paid us a holiday visit!
Good to hear from you, buddy!
Funny thing is, I knew Sally C. from her Quasi short and only recently saw that she did anything for Plaza de Sesamo!
I hope I can get back on track with whatever I was trying to do here after the blessed holiday season is over. I need the kitchen table! I need time to myself! I NEED TO CONCENTRATE!
